About the Swiss Mesothelioma Clinic
We are based in the Clinique de Genolier, one of Switzerland’s premier private hospital with state-of the art facilities. We also offer a service at the Clinique Générale Beaulieu, one of the premier private clinics in Geneva.
The London Mesothelioma Clinic was created in 2014 by leading mesothelioma surgeon Loïc Lang-Lazdunski, who was at the time based in London, in order to allow patients get a rapid opinion, diagnosis and adequate treatment. The London Mesothelioma Clinic was relocated to Clinique de Genolier, Switzerland in 2023.
The team comprises of Thoracic Surgeons, Respiratory physicians, Medical Oncologists, Radiation oncologists, Interventional Radiologists and Pathologists all of whom have developed an expertise in Thoracic Oncology, especially in Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma.

Our outcomes are among the best ever reported worldwide and we have the lowest reported mortality in radical mesothelioma surgery. We offer the full range of therapies for Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma and offer lifelong follow-up with the best imaging technologies and biological tests. We believe that every patient is unique and we do not support the one size fits all approach used in many healthcare systems and centers. Although we offer the best of modern medicine and surgery, we have open views on alternative or traditional medicines and can offer integrative approaches combining the best of both worlds.
Professor Loïc Lang-Lazdunski is recognized internationally as an expert in the field of pleural mesothelioma. He has operated on more than 5000 patients with cardiothoracic problems in his career and treated more than 1000 patients with pleural mesothelioma.
